In-app feedback: the fastest path is the Provide Feedback… action inside Einfall (fire it on any thought, or from Settings). It opens a pre-filled email in your own Mail app — nothing is sent without you reviewing and hitting send yourself. Feedback sent this way is never counted against your free routing fires.

Frequently asked questions

1. How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

   Open Settings in Einfall and look for the unlock/restore option (also offered automatically the first time you hit the routing gate on a new device). It uses Apple's standard "Restore Purchases," tied to the Apple ID that bought the unlock — no receipt, email, or account of ours needed.

2. My stream isn't syncing between my devices — what do I check?

   First, give iCloud a moment — sync isn't instant, especially right after signing in on a new device or reinstalling. Then check: you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices, iCloud Drive is turned on, and Einfall has iCloud access in Settings → your name → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud. Settings · Backup inside Einfall shows a passive sync-health readout (healthy / export-failing / import-failing) if something's actually wrong rather than just slow.

3. Can I export or back up my thoughts?

   Yes. Einfall can export your entire stream as one plain-text file at any time (a full, faithful copy — every thought, its tags, and its timestamps). You can also turn on automatic backup in Settings · Backup, which writes timestamped copies to a Files/iCloud Drive folder you choose, opportunistically while the app is open.

4. I deleted the example thoughts Einfall started with — can I get them back?

   Yes. Settings · How To has a "restore the examples" button that brings back the original seeded thoughts, so deleting them while exploring is never a one-way decision.

5. I want to see the onboarding lessons again.

   Settings · How To holds the full reference permanently — the walkthroughs, the complete list of capture surfaces, and the keyboard shortcuts — so you never have to hunt for a first-run screen again.

6. How do I connect Claude Code or another AI agent to my stream?

   See the agent setup guide for step-by-step recipes, starting with turning on External Agents in Settings.

7. Is there a free trial of the $29.99 unlock?

   Not a separate trial — your first 15 successful routing fires are free and unlimited in time, which works the same way: try the real feature before paying for it.

8. I found a bug. What should I include in my report?

   What you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, and (if you can) which device and Einfall version. A screenshot helps enormously. Send it via Provide Feedback… in-app, or to hello@einfall.co.
